Jay Foster is one of the best up and coming DJ’s in the city. He got his first gig when a friend asked him to play a one off night at the last minute. Jay was ecstatic to get his first gig but little did he know his adventure had just begun as shortly after his first gig another friend asked him if he could cover for a night in a club. It turned out the friend and owner where so impressed with Jay’s selection of tunes, use of effects and mixing they offered him a job, so the next week Jay started his dream. It didn’t take long for other bar and club owners and promoters to spot Jay’s talent. Within a few months Jay had three weekly residency gig’s such as, H bar, the Grafton, the Strand Tavern. (For full list of venues Jay has played see below) But his Djing doesn’t stop there as he has played guest spots in some of the citys biggest clubs such as Garlands, Kingdom, Passion, Bambooo and the Scent Vs Sunshine Sunday’s boat party, not to mention other places in the Uk and beyond. Jay has also been involved in the promotion for some of the biggest events in the city including Kerri Hilson @ newz. He is now learning to produce his own tunez after making bootlegs for the last couple of years.
